Updated counter...I had to.

Though I loved the cute cupcake pics on the counter, it was not the look I was going fo. I want a chic boutique cupcake store and gosh darn it I think I got it. It took me about an hour to stencil the entire counter but it was well worth it. whatcha think?

So much has happened these last few weeks. The first retail store I picked out to be the home of Cupcake Jubilee! fell through, I changed kitchen spaces and finally quit my full time job in order to dedicate more time to baking cupcakes. Then one day, cruising through craigslist ads I came across a posting that caught my eye. It was for a retail space near Florida Mall. The advertisement stated it was small but I felt the need to take a look in person.

So I did...and it is small.

But it is perfect. So, I signed the lease and now the first official Cupcake Jubilee! pick up location is due to open by Feb. 1st just in time for Valentines day. Grand opening day is coming soon.

Say it with Love.

I really enjoyed making this takeaway cake. The word "love" was cut with my cricut cake. The 3d hearts are fondant covered marsmallow treats. Valentines day is right around the corner and I can't wait to get more orders of these cakes.
